Description
A covered bridge in rural America. A dirt road leads to an old covered bridge going over a quite stream in farm country. The fenced road is partly shaded from the late afternoon sun by an old tree. Large stones make up the foundation of the bridge. Boulders are scattered here and there up and down the bank of the river. The old bridge has been well maintained and in spite of its age it still looks good. A bridge was covered in the old days to help it from the weather. This building has know doubt been the home of birds, bats and wasps over the years. It has also sheltered many a traveler form rain, snow and wind. Many a farm boy has caught fish underneath it. This painting is protected by copyright.
