Description
This oil painting of a cowboy that has found safety on top of an old out house gets one to thinking. He must have roped the cow, who has a calf and is feeling mighty protective of it. But, the saddle has come off the horse and so has the cowboy. From the looks of the hat that is stuck on the cow's horn the cowboy has narrowly escaped being gored. For now he has found safety on the roof of the privy. He still has the cow's full attention and he isn't going anywhere very soon. The calf is in the background watching the whole thing unfold, and the horse is way back in the green grass caring more about its lunch time than its rider. For now the cowboy has his cigarettes and plenty of daylight to figure this out. This painting is protected by copyright.
