Description
Morning storm at seawall Maine. This scene is at a place called seawall in Acadia National Park, Maine. You cand get out of your car and walk right out onto the rocks. This early morning there is a storm finishing up and the seas are high. The low clouds rushing by indicate that there might still be some more weather on its way. The spray from the breaking waves is suggesting a high wind. The closer breakers are washing over the near rocks and causing a small waterfall to occur and create a pool in the forground . This is a loud place and on this day the surf hitting the shore is impressive. The light from the sky is reflecting off the water in the near distance. Colours of blue, green, yellow and white can be seen between the foam. The distant yellow horizon gives way to a blue sky that can be seen past the storm clouds. In the near forground blue and white pools of salt water can be seen between the granite boulders. The tide is high and the ocean seems to be at its best here at "Seawall".
