A view of the San Francisco Peaks. Arizona has some winter weather if you go to the mountains. Lots of people think of Arizona in terms of Phoenix. But this area near Flagstaff gets its share of winter snow. These mountains are the remnants of an ancient volcano that erupted a thousand years ago.
