Artist's Description
This is an oil painting of a river in Tennessee. Its a quite bend in the river between the cliffs and hills. The sun is just coming up and the light is very dramatic. A distant mountain can be seen between the to cliffs that frame the dark river below. This is a quite place and has probably been a favorite Indian fishing spot for eons. I can imagine little Indian children running up and down the bank and jumping into the cool water on a hot summer day.
