Description
White lilacs in a glass vase. The fragrant white lilac is hard to beat for having a wonderful smell. Arranging this floral painting was a pleasure and to paint it was an even better experience. Farm life in Michigan is where every front, side and back yard has a variety of these bushes. Cat birds and cardinals are among the birds who like to nest in these thick hedge rows.

How beautiful! There was a white lilac tree in the garden of one of my childhood homes and another in the garden of one of our early homes, when we were married. Unfortunately when we moved, we had to leave the tree behind. Believe me, I still miss them!
