A view of the Grand Canyon near "Hermit's Rest" in the Grand Canyon National Park Arizona, USA is glorious in many ways. The light of day changes everything. And the weather plays a critical role in painting or photographing this awesome place. The first thing I noticed was the silence. Only an occasional crow and that was about it. Somehow I expected a big place like this to come with a lot of noise. I couldn't help but think about the millions of years it took to form this magnificent place.
About Lee Piper
I have been an oil painter my entire life. Many of the paintings that I do are sentimental rural settings. I also like to paint landmarks and paintings that tell a story like "Surprise Visit". My paintings have won first place in a lot of competitions and many times have been sold that way.
