Description
An early morning seascape in Acadia National Park. The area around Frenchman's Bay near the town of Bar Harbor offers up many scenes like this one. I watched a fog bank move in one morning and that is what inspired this painting. The sound is as much of the experience as the view is. Fog horns, buoy bells, sea gulls, wind and waves. The distant sound of a lobster boat heading out for the day.
