Description
A stormy sunrise over the rocky coast of Maine. A purple, orange, yellow, and blue sky silhouette the rocky cliffs of Maines coast. Storm clouds are giving way the a brilliant sunrise. The bay in the foreground is churning with breakers that are climbing half way up the rocky cliffs. In the near foreground wet rocks are reflecting the suns early light. On the left the distant ocean beckons. The right side of the picture is framed by a huge cliff back lit by the sunrise. The distant cliffs are shrouded in early morning fog while the top edges are also back lit by the morning light. One can only hope that there are no lobster men out in this. A stormy day like this may be the only break they get. This Maine scene is in Acadia National park. One of America's oldest National parks.

Wow, quite a dramatic and emotive work of art. Absolutely beautiful, and for me this is a good storm. You can feel the energy and spirit of nature. Like your entire gallery, brilliant and masterful art.

Very moody, emotional scene -- love the deep shadows with such discord in the clouds and waves!

You paint so beautifully! I’m especially captivated by your skies. They have so much color, and so much depth. It’s as if the sky is the narrator in many of your paintings. I love that quality.
